CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Senior David Oluwadara of the Boston University men's track & field team was named Patriot League Field Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.
 
Oluwadara broke his own school record in the triple jump, with a leap of 16.07 meters (52-8.75 feet) during Saturday's Bruce Lehane Scarlet & White Invitational. The Boston native's previous record of 16.06 meters was set last year, breaking a 31-year old program record. Oluwadara's jump is the best in the Patriot League and seventh-best in NCAA Division I this season.

BU will continue its home schedule this weekend when the Terriers host the David Hemery Valentine Invitational at the Track & Tennis Center. The men will compete on Saturday, Feb. 11.
