PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Boston University's women's lightweight rowing team will continue their spring season this Friday and Saturday, competing at the Dad Vail Regatta in Philadelphia, Penn.

The Terriers will send out four boats to compete in the regatta, the varsity eight, the varsity four and two singles. The singles and the varsity four boat will compete in heat races on Friday with finals scheduled for Saturday, while the varsity eight boat will compete on Saturday only.

The singles will race in the same heat on Friday at 11:36 a.m. while the varsity four will race at 2:18 p.m. The women's varsity eight boat will race on Saturday at 7:30 a.m. against old foes Wisconsin and MIT for the Dennis Kamrad Trophy.

The Dad Vail Regatta is one of the country's largest collegiate regattas, with over 100 schools from the U.S. and Canada participating. Every year, thousands of student-athletes gather to compete during the second Saturday of May.

This weekend will be the final competition for the BU lightweights before they compete in the IRA National Championship Regatta on June 2-4, in Sacramento, Calif.
