BOSTON – Looking to snap a two-game losing streak, the Boston University women's basketball team will return to Case Gym to open up a two-game homestand, starting with a 2 p.m. matchup against Navy on Saturday, Jan. 20.

LAST TIME OUT
- BU fell to Patriot League frontrunner American, 66-50, Wednesday night at Bender Arena.
- Corrine Williams notched 15 points, including 13 in the first half, and fell a rebound shy of a double-double, finishing with a game-high nine rebounds.
- Nia Irving led the Terriers in scoring with 18 points and has been BU's top scorer in four of its first seven conference tilts.
- BU shot a season-high 86.7 percent (13-for-15) from the free throw line.
- The Terriers held a 36-24 rebound advantage and have outrebounded their opponent in each of the last three games.
DEFENSE GETTING IT DONE
- In five of its seven Patriot League contests, BU has limited its opponents to under .400 percent shooting from the floor.
- BU has limited two of its last five opponents to shoot under 28 percent from the floor.
- In Patriot League play, BU ranks third with a .362 field goal percentage defense.
- The Terriers are also averaging a league-best 4.57 blocks per game in conference play.
SHARP SHOOTER
- In conference games, Nia Irving ranks second in the league with a .556 field goal percentage.
- Irving notched her most efficient outing of the season against Loyola on Jan. 5, going 10-of-12 from the floor en route to a 21-point outing.
- Irving has shot above .600 percent in three of seven Patriot League games.
SCOUTING NAVY
- Navy is coming off a 65-59 win over Lafayette on Wednesday to improve to 5-2 in conference games and 15-3 overall.
- Hannah Fenske posted a team-high 15 points against the Leopards and ranks second on the team with a 13.1 scoring average.
- In conference games, Fenske has upped her scoring average to 16.0 points per game, which ranks third among league leaders.
- Taylor Dunham leads the team and ranks third in the Patriot League with 15.7 points per game.
- Kaila Clark is the Mids' top threat on the glass, hauling down 8.7 boards per game and ranks fourth on the team with 7.9 points per game.
- Navy boasts the top scoring offense (71.3), scoring defense (55.8) and scoring margin (15.5) in the league.
- The Mids also lead the league in field goal percentage (.416), 3-point field goal defense (.288), 3-point field goals per game (8.2), turnover margin (4.89), assists (16.39) and steals (11.06).
THE SERIES
- Navy is 7-2 in the all-time series against the Terriers and swept the regular season series last year.
- Two of the last three matchups have been decided by three points or less.
