Promotion Military Appreciation Day

Military Appreciation Day will take place on Saturday as BU Athletics raises money for the Lead the Way Fund through cash donations for items such as hats, koozies and bracelets. Fans who write a letter to a U.S. soldier overseas will receive a Terrier camo drawstring bag while supplies last. For every additional letter, fans will receive a raffle ticket to win an Army Ranger Lead The Way backpack.

The Terriers sit at the top of the Patriot League standings at 4-0 and need just one more win to clinch the top seed and home field for the conference tournament. BU stands at 8-5 overall and is coming off a 3-2 double-overtime victory at Bucknell last Saturday.

Lehigh (2-13, 1-4 PL) just ended a four-game homestand and its lone win in its past 11 contests came last Saturday in a 2-1 triumph over Colgate. On Sunday, the Mountain Hawks dropped a hard-fought 4-2 contest to Rider.

BU is 5-0 all-time against Lehigh by a combined score of 18-1. Last season in Bethlehem, the Terriers posted a 6-0 win with Grace Boston and Kara Enoch notching two goals apiece.

Sophomore Lenke Havas leads the Mountain Hawks in both points (15) and assists (7) while freshman Leah Mullery has 11 points on the strength of a team-best five goals. Four other Mountain Hawks have two goals each on the year.

In goal, junior Paige Innarella has started 11 of Lehigh's 15 contests and has a .713 save percentage to go along with a 3.18 goals-against average.

The Terriers have benefited from a balanced scoring attack all season and two of last week's goal scorers were honored with senior Allie Doggett - the double-overtime hero - and freshman Rebecca Janes earning PL Defensive Player and PL Rookie of the Week accolades, respectively.

Sophomores Ailsa Connolly and Petra Hall each have 14 points on six goals and two assists to sit tied atop the team's scoring list. Doggett, Enoch and fellow senior Ally Hammel all have three goals apiece while classmate Kathleen Keegan has started all 13 games in goal and has a 1.96 goals-against average and a .569 save percentage.
