BOSTON - Coming off its third straight win on its home court, the Boston University women's basketball team will conclude its three-game homestand on Sunday, Dec. 2 as it takes on Delaware. Opening tip from Case Gym is set for 1 p.m.

TERRIER TIDBITS

  • BU improved to 3-0 at Case Gym after a dominating 60-39 victory over New Hampshire Wednesday night, as the starting lineup accounted for 93.3 percent of its scoring output, contributing 56 points.
  • Nia Irving, Katie Nelson and Naiyah Thompson all shot over 50.0 percent from the floor and scored in double figures.
  • Wednesday marked the first time since 2014 that the Terriers have held an opponent to score under 40 points.
  • Nia Irving leads the team in scoring (13.4) and rebounding (6.8).
  • The junior has scored in double figures in four straight games, three of which were 16-point efforts
  • Lauren Spearman has accounted for 16 of the team's 29 makes from beyond-the-arc, good for 55.1 percent.
  • Additionally, she leads the league in 3-point field goals per game (3.2) and ranks eighth in 3-point field goal percentage (35.6).
  • Freshmen Ashley Sieper and Chiara Tibbitt have made immediate impacts off the bench to start the season, while Riley Childs has made an impact after missing the opening games due to injury.
  • Childs hauled in a game-high nine rebounds versus New Hampshire.

SCOUTING DELAWARE

  • The Blue Hens have won three of their last four contests to even their record to 3-3 on the season.
  • Abby Gonzales leads the team with 17.7 points per game and owns two 20-point performances this season, though has just produced two points in each of the last two games.
  • Jasmine Dickey holds the team lead in rebounds (11.3) and ranks second in scoring (12.7).
  • Dickey collected her third straight CAA Rookie of the Week recognition after posting her third double-double of the season at the FAU Thanksgiving Tournament.

THE SERIES

  • Former North Atlantic Conference and America East foes, the Terriers and Blue Hens will square off for the second straight year.
  • BU won an epic 85-79 overtime decision in Newark last season, led by a 25-point effort by Katie Nelson.
  • Prior to last season's matchup, there was an 11-year hiatus in the series.
  • The Terriers will host the Blue Hens on Sunday for the first time since 2005.
