BOSTON - The Boston University will close out its four-game road trip as it visits Fairfield on Wednesday, March 14. Opening draw from Conway Field is set for 3 p.m. 

STUFFING THE STAT SHEET

  • Kailey Conry ranks second in the NCAA with 3.00 assists per game and ranks No. 15 in the nation with 5.25 points per game.
  • The sophomore has led BU in goals, assists and points in three of its first four games games.
  • Conry is deadly when shooting on net, connecting on .889 percent.

HAT TRICKS

  • Avery Donahoe ranks second on the team with eight goals and owns two hat tricks this season.
  • Donahoe is the lone Terrier to have multiple hat tricks this season.
  • Kailey Conry and Bridget McCarthy each recorded a hat trick at UMass Lowell on Feb. 21.
  • Conry, Donahoe and McCarthy are the only Terriers who have recorded at least one point in all four games this season.

THE LAST LINE

  • Maria Guerra leads the team with nine ground balls and is tied for the team lead with five caused turnovers.
  • Sarah Andersen has also impressed in her return to the field after missing the 2017 campaign due to injury.
  • Andersen is tied with Guerra for the team lead in caused turnovers (5) and is also tied for second in ground balls (8) with Kaitlin Belval.

SCOUTING FAIRFIELD

  • Fairfield has won three of its last four matchups to boast a 4-3 overall record.
  • Wednesday's matchup will mark the end of Fairfield's non-conference schedule.
  • The Stags are coming off a 12-11 loss to Lehigh on Sunday.
  • Brenna Connolly leads the team in goals (14), assists (11) and points (25).
  • Olivia Russell follows with 12 scores, while Kathleen Hulseman and Lily Crager have dished seven assists apiece.
  • Erin Mammele has dominanted on the draw, winning 56 decisions.
  • Mammelle is on track to break her single-season draw record, as she set the program mark last season with 86.
  • Paulina DiFatta has started all seven games in net for the Stags and owns a 9.94 goals against average and .536 save percentage.

THE SERIES

  • BU has won both of its matchups against Fairfield, most recently taking a 10-9 overtime decision last season as Kailey Conry netted the game-winner.
  • The Terriers took the debut matchup, 13-8, at Conway Field in 2016.
