BOSTON - The Boston University women's lacrosse team will return to the road as it visits Lafayette on Saturday, March 24. Opening draw from Fisher Stadium is set for 4 p.m. and can be seen live on the Patriot League Network.

STUFFING THE STAT SHEET

  • Kailey Conry leads the Patriot League with  2.5 assists per game and ranks third with 4.5 points per game.
  • The sophomore has led BU in goals, assists and points in three of its first six games games.
  • Conry also made marks on the national scene as she appeared twice on SportsCenter's Top 10 Plays twice last week.
  • Her over-the-head goal at Fairfield took the No. 4 spot on March 15, while her behind-the-back score against Lehigh checked in at No. 6 on March 18.

HAT TRICKS

  • Avery Donahoe leads the team with 14 goals and owns three hat tricks this season.
  • Donahoe is the lone Terrier to have multiple hat tricks this season and has found the back of the net nine times over the past three games.

PILING UP POINTS

  • Kailey Conry leads the team with a 21-game point streak dating back to last season.
  • Conry has 95 points over the past 21 games, with 70 of those coming on assists.

THE LAST LINE

  • Maria Guerra leads the team in ground balls (15) and caused turnovers (9).
  • Sarah Andersen has also impressed in her return to the field after missing the 2017 campaign due to injury.
  • Andersen followed Guerra in caused turnoveres  (7) and ranks fourth (10) in ground balls.

SCOUTING LAFAYETTE

  • Lafayette was narrowed, 16-14, by Holy Cross in its Patriot League opener in Worcester last Saturday.
  • The Leopards battled back from a six-goal deficit, but the Crusaders tallied three goals over the final five minutes to secure the win.
  • Junior Jane Kirby leads the league with 4.13 goals per game.
  • Kirby, an All-Patriot League Second Team member last season, is seven points shy for 100 career total.
  • Fellow junior Emma Novick follows Kirby in goals (26) and points (28).
  • Juniors Hannah Davey leads the team in draw controls (45), while Elisa Ashford holds the team mark in caused turnovers (10).
  • Quinn Lacy has started six of eight games in net and is 3-3 on the season.
  • Lacy has allowed 12.17 goals per game and claims a .385 save percentage.
  • Head coach Alison Fisher is in her 10th year at the helm of the Leopards.

THE SERIES

  • BU is a perfect 5-0 against Lafayette.
  • The Terriers have registered at least 14 goals in each of the last four matchups.
  • BU earned its first postseason win over the Leopards, 14-7, in the Patriot League quarterfinals last season.
  • Kaitlin Belval posted a career-high four goals, including three in the second half, to guide BU to its fourth straight semifinals appearance.
