Terriers Compete at ECAC/IC4A Championships

RESULTS

BOSTON - The Boston University men's and women's track & field teams concluded their indoor season by competing in the IC4A/ECAC Championships on Saturday at the Track and Tennis Center.
 
The Terriers sent out a total of two student-athletes to compete in the men's and women's competition. On the women's side, junior Jordan Coverson competed in the women's ECAC 400m prelims and finished 14th with a time of  56.47. On the men's side, junior Robie Webster competed in the men's IC4A 400m prelims and finished 19th with a time of 49.31. Neither Coverson nor Webster qualified for Sunday's finals.
 
The IC4A and ECAC Championships will conclude on Sunday at the TTC starting with the triple jump at 9:30 a.m. and finishing with the 4x400 finals and awards ceremony sometime after 4 p.m.
 
The Terriers will begin their outdoor season at the Hurricane Invitational in Miami, Fla. on March 16-17.

TEAM WINNERS

The University of Connecticut claimed the IC4A Men's title and Liberty University claimed the ECAC Division I Women's title. The Connecticut men totaled 85 points through 20 events for the championship, while Liberty totaled 84.5 points in 20 events scored to earn the title.
