BOSTON - Returning to non-conference action, the Boston University women's lacrosse team will host Harvard on Wednesday, April 4. Opening draw against the Crimson is set for 7 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT

  • Ninth-ranked Loyola Maryland handed BU an 18-11 defeat on Saturday.
  • Kaitlin Belval, Lexi Lewis and Molly Kern paced the offense with two goals apiece, while Christine Laible matched a career-high with 13 stops in between the pipes.
  • Belval posted and Tonianne Magnelli each won five draw controls and caused a trio of turnovers.
  • BU outscored Loyola 8-6 outshot the Greyhounds 24-12 in the second half.

TEWAARATON WATCH

  • Kailey Conry was added to the Tewaaraton Watch List on March 22.
  • Conry is the first sophomore in program history to be named to the Tewaaraton Watch List and is the first player to be named to the list since Danielle Estrasco '13 earned the recognition in 2013.

  • Kailey Conry leads the Patriot League and ranks 16th nationally with 2.25 assists per game and ranks fourth in the league with 4.13 points per game.
  • Conry connects on .811 percent of her shots on frame and has provided an assist in all eight games and scored in all but one.

PILING UP POINTS

  • Kailey Conry ranks second in the Patriot League and 19th nationally with 2.11 assists per game.
  • Additionally, Conry ranks seventh in the league with 3.89 points per game and leads the team with a 24-game point streak dating back to last season.
  • Conry has 102 points over the past 24 games, with 73 of those coming on assists, and is the only Terrier who has registered a point in all nine games this season.

HAT TRICKS

  • Avery Donahoe leads the team with 21 goals and owns four hat tricks this season.
  • Kailey Conry follows with two hat tricks, coming against Colgate and UMass Lowell.
  • Bridget McCarthy also posted three scores against UMass Lowell.

THE LAST LINE

  • Maria Guerra leads the team in ground balls (26) and caused turnovers (14).
  • Guerra ranks third in the league with 2.89 ground balls per game and has collected 11 over the last three games.
  • Sarah Andersen has also impressed in her return to the field after missing the 2017 campaign due to injury.
  • Andersen checks in third in the team rankings in caused turnovers (10) and fourth (15) in ground balls.
  • Tonianne Magnelli ranks second on the team in ground balls (18) and has forced eight turnovers.

SCOUTING HARVARD

  • The Crimson mirror the Terriers with a 3-6 overall mark, though it finds itself winless in Ivy League play at 0-3.
  • Harvard boasts on of the top attacks in the nation as Julia Glynn and Keeley MacAfee are tied for fourth in the NCAA with 4.11 goals per game.
  • Additionally, Glynn ranks fourth in the nation in points per game (5.89) and MacAfee ranks sixth (5.78).
  • As a team, Harvard boasts the 15th-best offense nationally with 15.22 points per game.
  • Glynn is also the top threat for the Crimson on the draw (34), while Tate Green leads the team in caused turnovers (10).
  • In net, Olivia Gundrum has started all nine games, posting a 15.93 goals against average and 40.2 save percentage.
  • Lisa Miller is in her 11th season at the helm of the Crimson.
  • Through 21 years of coaching, Miller holds an 188-136 career mark.

THE SERIES

  • BU is 10-12 all-time in varsity contests against Harvard.
  • The Terriers posted the longest winning streak in the series that dates back to 1984, winning six straight from 2005-10.
  • Harvard took the last matchup on its home turf, 11-6, in 2014.
  • BU has taken seven of the last eight matchups at Nickerson Field.
