BOSTON - Riding a five-game win streak, the Boston University women's lacrosse team will look to clinch a Patriot League Tournament berth as it heads to Army West Point on Saturday, April 21. Opening draw from Michie Stadium is set for 1 p.m.

PATRIOT LEAGUE PICTURE

  • With a win over Army West Point on Saturday, BU would clinch a spot in the Patriot League Tournament.
  • Navy and Loyola Maryland are the only two teams who have clinched a postseason.
  • BU, Lehigh, Colgate, Army West Point and Holy Cross are fighting to clinch one of four remaining spots in the tournament.

LAST TIME OUT

  • Christine Laible made 13 saves in net for the fourth time this season to earn Turnpike Trophy MVP honors as BU cruised to a 16-7 victory over Holy Cross Wednesday night at Nickerson Field.
  • Ava Barry powered the attack with five points on four goals and one assist. 
  • Caroline English and Lexi Lewis posted career-bests as English registered four scores and Lewis put up a hat trick. 
  • Kaitlin Belval posted an outstanding game at the midfield, winning nine decisions to go with four draw controls and two caused turnovers.

SCOUTING ARMY WEST POINT

  • Now in their third season at the varsity level, the Black Knights clinched their first winning season in program history after a 15-8 win over Colgate on Wednesday.
  • Of Army West Point's nine wins, five have come at Michie Stadium
  • Rachel Hornick leads the team with 42 points on 23 goals and 19 assists.
  • Maddie Miller follows with 33 points on 13 scores and 20 helpers.
  • Lauren Bredenburg leads the Black Knights in ground balls (25) and caused turnovers (17).
  • Amy Johnston owns a team-best 81 draw controls and ranks second in the league in draw controls per game (5.40).
  • Maddie Burns has started all 15 games in net and has allowed 10.93 goals per game.

THE SERIES

  • BU dominated the Black Knights in the first matchup, taking the game 14-3.
  • The Terriers pulled away in the final minutes of last season's contest to prevail at West Point, 12-11.

  • The Terriers will close out the regular season at No. 11 Navy on Saturday, April 28 at 1 p.m.
