Terriers Conclude Outdoor Season at ECAC/IC4As

RESULTS
 
PRINCETON, N.J. - Highlighted by a silver-medal performance in the men's 4x800m relay, the Boston University men's and women's track & field teams concluded their outdoor season at the ECAC/IC4A Championships which took place on Saturday and Sunday at Princeton's Weaver Stadium.

The The top eight men's performers in each event were named All-East and the top eight for the women were given All-ECAC honors.

 TOP FINISHES MEN
• The 4x800m relay of Liam O'Connell, Tommy Quinn, Alexander Seal and Paul Luevano finished their season on a high note, finishing second with a season-best time of 7:32.36 in a field of 14.
• Competing on Friday, the 4x100m relay team of Justin Flynn, Chiebuka Onwuzurike, Jordan Love and Cameron Nurse finished fifth with a time of 40.96 in a field of 19.
• Paul Luevano competed in the 800m run and finished 13th with a time of 1:51.89.
• Greg Pelose competed in the 3000m steeplechase and took 12th with a time of 9:08.29.

TOP FINISHES WOMEN
• Tehya Noell concluded her terrific outdoor season by finishing third in the 100m hurdle finals with a time of 13.86. Noell qualified for the finals by finishing third in the prelims with a time of 13.90.
• Also in the 100m hurdles, Ally Saccone qualified for the finals and finished sixth with a time of 14.00.
• Jordan Coverson finished 15th in the finals of the 400m dash with a time of 56.79.
• Alicia Huerta finished 15th in the 10,000m run with a time of 38:10.94.
 
NEW ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS
Also competing for the Terriers this weekend was Gillian Morrison who competed in the high jump at the New England Championships hosted by Dartmouth College on Saturday. Coming off her gold medal performance in the heptathlon at the Patriot League Championship, Morrison finished 20th with a jump of 1.68 meters.

UP NEXT FOR OLUWADARA
This weekend was the last opportunity for student-athletes to qualify for the NCAA Regionals with the top 48 performances in each event qualifying. Any athletes who qualified will continue their season at the  NCAA East Regionals which take place in Tampa, Fla. on May 24-26. As of Sunday, David Oluwadara's school-record triple jump of 16.21m still stands as the ninth-best mark in the nation and would qualify him for the NCAAs Regionals.
