BOSTON - Junior
Paul Luevano finished second to lead the Boston University men's cross country team in its season opener against Florida State on Friday morning at Franklin Park.
Luevano was one of two Terriers to finish in the top five against the Seminoles, who entered the weekend as the fourth-ranked team in the South region according to the USTFCCCA. Thanks to a late surge, Luevano finished with an 8K time of 25:14.93.
Sophomore
Brett Davidson joined Luevano in the top five in his first race since an early-season injury during the 2017 cross country campaign. Davidson posted a time of 25:29.12 to finish fifth. Freshman
Joe Grandizio earned a top-10 finish in his collegiate debut thanks to a time of 26:21.07. Junior

BU will return to Franklin Park next Friday, Sept. 21, when they compete in the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown.
