HANOVER, N.H. - The Boston University golf team continued its fall season this past weekend at the Dartmouth Invitational.
Playing at the Hanover Country Club, the Terriers combined for a two-day score of 614 (308-306) to finish eighth in the 15-team field, just two strokes shy of seventh-place Brown. Freshman
Hanako Kawasaki fired an even-par 72 in Sunday's final round to tie for 14th with a score of 149 (77-72) in her collegiate debut. That score tied her with senior
Megan Carter, who shot a 74 and a 75 while competing as an individual.
Junior
Zhangcheng Guo tied for 28th with a score of 153 (75-78), followed by juniors
Annie Sritragul (80-76) and
Abby Parsons (76-80) who tied for 40th with scores of 156. Sophomore
Katerina Doleckova carded a pair of 80s to finish tied for 54th with a total of 160.
BU will remain in New England for its next tournament, as the Terriers will tee off at the two-day, 54-hole Boston College Intercollegiate at Blue Hill Country Club on Sept. 24 and 25.
