BOSTON - Resuming its season in 2019, the Boston University men's and women's swimming and diving teams will head to Colgate on Saturday, Jan. 12 for a dual meet against the Raiders. 

Terrier Tidbits

  • The men's team is off to a 5-1 start, owning a 2-0 record in Patriot League meets.
  • Trevor Winans is posting another strong season, sweeping the free events in three meets and has won at least one individual event in five of the team's six meets.
  • Stuart Vickery is in the midst of an impressive sophomore campaign, as he has won three individual events three times this season, doubling his individual victory total from all of last season.
  • On the women's side, the first half of the season was highlighted by a team victory at the Terrier Invitational, its first top finish at the three-day event since 2010.
  • The Terriers stand at 3-5 overall and will seek its first dual meet against a Patriot League opponent as well as its first win on the road.
  • Sydney Lee is also posting a breakout sophomore season, earning the top spot in the 200 free four times.
  • Julimar Avila has also been a consistent podium performer, as she has twice won the 100 and 200 fly events.

  • BU will host its first of three meets to close out the regular season, welcoming Bryant on Wednesday, Jan. 16 for a dual meet at 6 p.m.
