RESULTS
BOSTON – Several members of the men's and women's track & field teams continued their indoor seasons at the Crimson Elite Meet hosted by Harvard on Friday. The Terriers competed against Harvard, Columbia, FAU, George Mason, Monmouth, Syracuse, Alabama Birmingham, Albany, UMass Lowell, RPI and Yale.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Junior Chiebuka Onwuzurike took first in the 60m dash prelims with a time of 6.86. In the finals, Onwuzurike finished with an excellent time of 6.82, a new personal best and top time in the Patriot League. Â
- Freshman Declan Ritzenthaler had a strong performance in the pole vault, finishing fourth among collegians with a personal best vault of 4.70m (15'5").
- On the women's side, sophomore Greer Liguori competed in the pentathlon and finished third in a field of five with 2,951 points. Liguori finished first in the 800m run with a time of 2:28.97.
- Senior Kennedy Jones competed in the 60m hurdles prelims and finished 11th with a time of 9.12 while sophomore Bridget Chiaravalle finished 14th with a time of 9.12.
- In the field, senior Sarah Cicchetti finished sixth in the weight throw with a throw of 16.66m (54'8") while sophomore Bridget Bishop finished 11th with a throw of 14.86m (48'9").
