Annapolis, Md. - The Boston University men's track & field team competed in day one of the Patriot League Championships on Saturday at Navy's Wesley Brown Fieldhouse.

Sophomore
Nikolas Smith finished seventh in the 200m dash prelims with a time of 21.86 and qualified for Sunday's finals while junior
Chiebuka Onwuzurike finished eighth with time of 21.97 to also qualify for the finals
Onwuzurike also competed in 60m dash prelims and finished ninth with a time of 6.99, just out of qualifying position.Â

The men's 4x800m relay team of
Michael Huber,
Marcel Aubry,
Johnathon Kemps and
Paul Luevano finished in fifth place with a time of 7:39.65 to earn the Terriers four points.Â
Sophomore
Brett Davidson finished ninth in the 5000m run with a time of 15:05.85 while senior
Alexander Seal was 10th(15:15.52).Â

In the field, freshman
Declan Ritzenthaler and sophomore
Robert Saligman competed in the pole vault. Ritzenthaler finished 10th with a vault of 4.65 meters (15'3") while Saligman was 11th with a vault of 4.50m (14'9").Â

The Terriers are in seventh place after day one with five events complete and 15 more to be determined on Sunday.
