BOSTON - With a home quarterfinal Patriot League Tournament game clinched, the Boston University women's basketball team will take Case Gym for one final time during the regular season on Wednesday, March 6 against Loyola Maryland. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. and can be seen live on the Patriot League Network.

TERRIER TIDBITS

  • The Terriers have already passed their conference win total from last season and currently stand at 11-6 in conference games.
  • The 2016-17 season was BU's best showing in Patriot League games, where it finished with an 11-7 record.
  • With a win on Wednesday, BU would post its best regular season record in Patriot League games since joining the conference for the 2013-14 season.
  • BU has locked up a winning season for the first time since the 2012-13 season.
  • Furthermore, head coach Marisa Moseley became the first first-year head coach of the Terriers to post a winning record since JoAnn O'Callaghan went 18-9 during the 1979-80 season.
  • BU is in third place in the Patriot League standings and will host a quarterfinal tournament game for the first time on Monday, March 11 at 7 p.m.
  • Lehigh also stands at 11-6, though the Terriers hold the tie breaker over the Mountain Hawks.

SCOUTING LOYOLA MARYLAND

  • The Greyhounds average a league-low 53.1 points per game and hold the second-lowest scoring defense by surrendering 64.6 points per game.
  • Loyola snapped a three-game skid by edging Navy 55-50 in Annapolis on Saturday.
  • Bri Betz-White posted a game-high 18 points on 7-for-13 shooting, leading the Greyhounds to outscoring the Mids 15-8 in the fourth quarter to bump up to 4-13 in conference play.
  • Stephanie Karcz leads the Patriot League in steals (4.4) while also ranking fourth in both rebounds (9.5) and assists (3.5) per game.
  • Isabella Therien leads the team with 14.3 points per game but has not seen the floor since Jan. 30.
  • Betz-White follows with 9.1 points per game, while Delaney Connolly has chipped in with 8.5 points and 4.7 rebounds per contest.

THE SERIES

  • BU has won four of the last five games against the Greyhounds.
  • The Terriers led by 23 points early in the third quarter in the first matchup in Baltimore Jan. 9, but the Greyhounds battled back to force overtime, where the Terriers pulled away with a 64-62 win.
