In their final weekend of competition before the Patriot League Outdoor Championships, the Boston University men's and women's track & field teams competed at three meets over the weekend. The Terriers competed at the Tom Jones Memorial Invite hosted by the University of Florida, the Skyhawk Invite hosted by Stonehill College and the Virginia Grand Prix, hosted by the University of Virginia.Â

The Terriers had several outstanding performances. On the men's side at Virginia,Â
Paul Luevano had a terrific performance on Saturday, winning the 1500m run with a time of with a time of 3:45.26 in a deep and talented field. Luevano's time is the best in the PL this season and would qualify for him for NCAA regionals. For the women,Â
Andrea Claeson competed in the 1500m run and finished fourth with an excellent time of 4:28.60, a new personal best and third best in the PL.Â
On the men's side at Florida,
Chiebuka Onwuzurike had a great performance in the 200m dash, finishing with a time of 21.39, third best in the Patriot League this year. For the women,
Greer Liguori finished the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:01.37, a new personal best and fifth best in the PL.

At Stonehill, for the men
Clint Lockwood won the hammer throw with a throw of 50.59 meters (166') while for the women,
Sarah Cicchetti took second in the discuss with a throw of 40.45 meters (132'8"), a new personal best.

TOP PERFORMERS – MENÂ

- Johnny Kemps also competed in the 1500m and finished with a time of 3:58.13, and in 15th place.Â

- Andrea Claeson competed in the 1500m run and finished fourth with a time of 4:28.60 a new personal best and third best in the PL. Â
- Coco Ocker competed in the 800m run and finished 14th with a time of 2:15.07.Â

TOP PERFORMERS – MENÂ
- Chiebuka Onwuzurike had a great performance in the 200m dash, finishing with a time of 21.39, third best in the Patriot League this year.Â
- Nikolas Smith also competed in the 200m dash and finished with a time of 21.81 and in 24th place in a field of 38. Smith also competed in the 400m dash and finished with a time of 46.41 and in 26th place.
- Jamin Harris had a great performance in the 400m hurdles, finishing with a personal best time of 53.27 and in ninth place.Â
- The 4x100m relay team of Ebruba Etta, Chiebuka Onwuzurike, Nikolas Smith and Riley Sasaki finished ninth with a time of 41.31.
TOP PERFORMERS – WOMENÂ
- On Friday, Emily Turner competed in the 800m run and finished with a time of 2:15.03, a new personal best and good for 15th pace.Â
- Greer Liguori finished the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:01.37, a new personal best and fifth best in the PL.Â
- Ebony Brown competed in the 100m dash and finished with a time of 12.39 and in 36th place.
- Jordan Coverson finished the 400m dash in 55.84 and in 22nd place. In a field of 40.Â
- Anna Foreman finished the 400m dash in 56.84.Â
- Alicia Thomas finished the 200m run with a time of 24.57, setting a new personal best and finishing 34th in a field of 60.
- Lovie Burleson competed in the long jump and finished 18th with a jump of 5.66 meters (18'7"). Burleson also competed in the triple jump and finished 12th with a jump of 11.95m (39'2.5").Â

- Clint Lockwood won the hammer throw with a throw of 50.59 meters (166').
- Liam Cusack finished first in the javelin throw with a throw of 47.26 meters (155'1").
- Ben Nason finished third in the pole vault with a vault of 4.10 meters (13'5.25").
- David Vovor finished third in the shot put with a throw of 11.90 meters (39'.5"), a new personal best.Â
- Hayden Jennings finished sixth in the 800m run with a time of 1:58.48.Â
- Diego De La Torre finished fourth in the 3000m with a time of 9:12.31.Â
TOP PERFORMERS – WOMENÂ
- Sarah Cicchetti took second in the discuss with a throw of 40.45 meters (132'8"), a new personal best. Cicchetti also finished third in the hammer throw with a throw of 49.17 meters (161'4"). In addition, Cicchetti finished fifth in the shot put (13.02 meters – 42'8.75").Â
- In the field, Zoe Meinelschmidt finished fifth in the javelin throw with a throw of 36.43 meters (119'06").
- Laura Parkinson finished fifth in the 800m run with a time of 2:20.04.Â
