JACKSONVILLE, Fla. –  Senior Alexander Seal and junior Paul Luevano of the Boston University men's track & field team concluded their excellent outdoor seasons by competing at the NCAA East Regionals on Thursday and Friday.
 
On Thursday, Luevano competed in the 1500m run looking to be among the 24 qualifiers for Saturday's NCAA quarterfinals. Luevano finished with a time of 4:00.76 and did not advance to quarterfinals.
 
Luevano qualified for this weekend's NCAA regionals with a time of 3:45.26 which he set at the Virginia Grand Prix on April 27.
 
On Friday evening, Alexander Seal competed in the 3,000m steeplechase looking to be one of 12 runners to advance to the NCAA Championships. Seal finished 16th in his heat with a time of 9:42.52 and did not advance to the NCAA Championships.  
 
Seal qualified for NCAA Regionals with a personal best time of 8:58.77 which he set at the Princeton Larry Ellis Invite on April 20.
