- Raphael fed DiSarcina sprinting towards the center of the field, who ripped a one-timer from 25 yards out that Stonybrook's keeper got her fingertips on, though the momentum was too much to handle as the ball landed in the back of the net.
- Stony Brook nearly delivered the equalizer three minutes into the second half, but Fay made a spectacular one-handed save to halt another breakaway chance.
- Stureman put the exclamation point on the night by taking advantage of a failed Seawolves clearance, arcing a one-timer off a deflection from 30 yards out that landed just under the crossbar.
