BOSTON - Returning to Case Gym for its first Patriot League home contest, the Boston University women's basketball team will set its sights on matching up against American on Sunday, Jan. 5 at 2 p.m.

- BU is coming off a heartbreaking 59-57 defeat at the buzzer against Lafayette Thursday night.
- Maggie Pina led the Terriers with a career-high 26 points on 9-of-18 shooting.
- Pina's 26 points were the most any student-athlete in the Patriot League notched on the opening night of conference play.
- Katie Nelson (33) and Pina (24) have combined for 57 of BU's 81 makes from 3-point range.

- Edwards is coming off her fifth 20-point performance of the season against the Raiders, while Kaitlyn Marenyi notched a career-best 16 points on Thursday.
- Indeya Sanders is the top rebounder for American (6.0) and assist provider (5.0)Â and ranks third in scoring (7.8) behind Marenyi (12.3).
