BOSTON - Holding a seven-game win streak, the Boston University women's basketball will look to finish the season sweep of American on Saturday, Feb. 22. Opening tip from Bender Arena is scheduled for 2 p.m. and can be seen live on the Patriot League Network.

TERRIER TIDBITS
  • In a game of runs, BU outlasted Lafayette, 47-40, Wednesday night at Case Gym for its seventh straight win.
  • Riley Childs posted her second double-double in five games, leading all players with 10 rebounds to go with 11 points.
  • BU is on a seven-game win streak, its longest since the 2012-13 season.
  • Additionally, the seven-game streak is BU's longest Patriot League win streak.
  • Katie Nelson is three assists away from reaching 300 career assists.
  • Nelson would be the 11th Terrier to reach the milestone and the first since Chantell Alford '13.
SCOUTING AMERICAN
  • The Eagles are coming off a 48-40 win at Navy on Wednesday to stand at 10-14 overall and 6-8 in Patriot League games.
  • American is 6-4 at Bender Arena and is 45-10 at home since the start of the 2016-17 season.
  • Jade Edwards carried the team with her third double-double of the season on 22 points and 11 rebounds.
  • Edwards and Kaitlyn Marenyi make up American's one-two scoring punch, as Edwards is averaging 14.6 points per game to Marenyi's 13.7 average.
  • Edwards is also the top rebounder on the team with 6.8 boards per game.
  • Indeya Sanders ranks third in the league in both assists (4.3) and steals (2.0) per game.
THE SERIES
  • BU snapped a five-game skid to the Eagles by tabbing a 59-44 win in the first matchup this season at Case Gym Jan. 5.
  • The Terriers held American to its lowest scoring total ever in the 18-game series, limiting the Eagles to connect at just 26.0 percent (13-for-50) from the floor.
  • The Terriers will seek their first win at Bender Arena since winning the debut game in the series in 1981.
  • American is 11-4 against the Terriers since BU joined the Patriot League.
