BOSTON – Closing out two straight games on the road, the Boston University women's lacrosse team will head to Fairfield on Wednesday, Feb. 26. Opening draw is set for 3 p.m. and can be seen live on Facebook on the FairfieldUAthletics page.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- Lexi Lewis tallied three goals and Ava Barry added a pair as the Terriers fell at No. 18 Dartmouth, 16-8, on Saturday.
- Lewis leads the Terriers in draw controls (23), ground balls (13) and has three straight multi-goal efforts.
- Makenzie Irvine leads the team in goals (10) and has three multi-goal games this season.
- Kailey Conry leads the Terriers in points (17), assists (12), and is five points away from passing Alyssa Trudel '03 to crack the top-five list in all-time scoring.
SCOUTING FAIRFIELD
- The Stags are off to a 1-3 start after falling to Hofstra, 17-13, on Saturday.
- Cameryn Dera, Kelly Horning and Monika Sivilli each netted hat tricks.
- Horning has two straight hat tricks and leads the team in caused turnovers (11), while Sivilli leads the Stags in goals (9).
- Horning also is tied for the team lead in ground balls (14) with Maggie Reynolds.
- Diana DeVita leads the team in assists (8) and points (14).
- Olivia Conquest has started all four games in net, stopping .474 percent of shots on frame and limiting opponents to 13.15 goals per game.
THE SERIES
- BU has won all four games against Fairfield and is coming off a 16-5 win in Boston last season, its largest margin of victory in the series.
- Conry led the Terriers with five points, while three Terriers netted hat tricks.
- Two of the four matchups have gone into overtime.
