BOSTON - After a successful weekend trip to Colgate, the Boston University field hockey team returns to New Balance Field on Monday (Oct. 18) when it plays host to crosstown rival and 13th-ranked Harvard. Game time is set for 6 p.m. This will kick off a three-game homestand.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU got back in the win column on Saturday, picking up its first road victory of the season in a 3-1 contest at Colgate.
- Junior Ellie McIntyre scored her first goal of the season and classmate Gianna Pantaleo and freshman Payton Anderson also found the back of the cage for the Terriers.
- Anderson continues to lead BU in points (17), goals (7) and shots (37).
- Senior Casey Thompson recorded a pair of assists for the Terriers and leads the team in that category this season with six, which ties her for fourth among Patriot League players.
SCOUTING THE CRIMSON
- Harvard enters Monday's game on a six-game win streak and its only loss this season came in a shootout against UConn.
- The Crimson are coming off a 4-0 home victory over Dartmouth on Saturday to move to 4-0 in Ivy League play.
- Senior Hannah Pierce leads the Crimson in points (18) and goals (8) and have of her tallies have been game-winners.
- Sophomores Mazarine Broze (2g, 6a) and Avery Donahue (4g, 2a) have added 10 points apiece.
- In goal, junior Ellie Shahbo is 9-1 in 10 starts and sports a 0.39 goals-against average and an .867 save percentage.
SERIES HISTORY
- The Terriers are 20-16-1 all-time against the Crimson but have come up short in the past four meetings, including a 4-1 contest when the teams last met in 2019.

- BU will return to action on Saturday (Oct. 23) when it hosts No. 22 American.
