Men's Soccer to Visit Harvard in Tuesday Night Non-Conference Tilt

BOSTON – Taking a brief break from Patriot League play, the Boston University men's soccer team will visit Ivy League rival Harvard on Tuesday night with the ESPN+ broadcast set for 7 p.m.

TERRIER TIDBITS
  • BU dropped both conference games this past week with a 2-0 loss at Army West Point and 3-0 defeat to Loyola Maryland after starting PL play.
  • In the last non-conference matchup, BU recorded a 0-0 draw at Merrimack.
  • Freshman Brian Hernandez and junior Quinn Matulis lead the Terriers at two goals and four points apiece.
  • Junior Ronaldo Marshall is one of five Terriers with an assist and also has a goal for three points.
  • Junior Francesco Montali has started seven games at net and recorded a .650 save percentage and 2.00 goals against average.
SCOUTING HARVARD
  • Harvard is coming off a 0-0 draw at Yale and 3-1 loss at No. 6 New Hampshire, who opened the season with a 2-0 win at BU. 
  • The Crimson own wins vs. Vermont (2-1 OT), Merrimack (2-0) and Central Connecticut State (4-0).
  • Alessandro Arlotti, younger brother of starting Terrier defender Gianluca Arlotti, leads the Crimson with nine points off three assists and three goals, all game winners.
  • Cornelius Bencsik owns six points off two goals and two assists, while Willem Ebbinge has four points off two helpers and a goal.
  • Oskar Nilsson has started seven games at net, posting a .822 save percentage and 1.05 goals against average.
SERIES HISTORY
  • BU is 17-26-8 all-time in the series that dates back to 1951 after claiming a 2-0 home win in 2019.
  • The home team has won each of the last five games with Harvard scoring a golden goal in 2018.
