BOSTON, Mass. – The Boston University women's basketball program aims to win its third straight game at home to start the 2021-22 season with a Sunday afternoon duel with Maine. Opening tip is set for 1 p.m.

BU, which has won 19 of their last 22 games at home, looks to achieve that mark for the second straight season, and the third time in the last four seasons. The 2018-19 campaign was the last time the Terriers started the year 3-0 at home against non-conference foes.

Maine, meanwhile, seeks their second consecutive win in three days.

Sunday's game is free admission for any youths in eighth grade or below. Those who have a ticket to the women's hockey game at 3 p.m. will also be admitted to the women's basketball game for free.
