Riley Childs was also dynamic from the floor, connecting on 5-of-6 attempts for 14 points to go with a game-high nine rebounds, while Emily Esposito hit on 6-of-10 attempts for 13 points. As a team, the Terriers lead the Patriot League in field goal percentage (.473) and have recorded at least a 50 percent shooting clip five times this season.
Furthermore, the Terriers have eclipsed the 70-point mark in each of their three games versus Holy Cross this season. Additionally, BU has shot above 50 percent from the floor in each of those three games against the Crusaders, while its five-game win streak is its longest in the series.
During the weekend, Patriot League men's and women's basketball student-athletes will wear special shooting shirts adorned with a Black fist surrounded by 10 stars to represent each of the League's member institutions and the phrase "Pursuing Anti-Racism." The shirt's back will feature the words "Unity, Respect, Activism" to signify the values under which the league will continue to pursue the goal of anti-racism.
