BOSTON - Picking up another non-conference road tilt, the Boston University women's lacrosse team will battle with LaSalle on Monday, March 15. Opening draw from McCarthy Stadium is set for 2:30 p.m.

BU overcame a six-goal deficit early in the second half to earn a 12-10 road victory at Vermont last Sunday in its last outing. Vermont held a 9-3 lead with 27:24 remaining, but BU battled back with nine consecutive goals to earn its first win of the season. Kendall Sims was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week after producing a three-point afternoon, which included netting her first career goal along with assisting on both the game-tying and go-ahead goals.

Makenzie Irvine leads the Terriers with an 11-game point streak, a streak that dates back to the 2019 season. During that stretch, she has compiled 24 goals and one assist. Emily Vervlied is the lone Terrier who has recorded multi-goal efforts in each of the first three games. Vervlied leads the team in points (12), assists (5) and is tied for the lead in goals (7).

La Salle is coming off back-to-back defeats and stands at 1-2 overall. Bridget Ruskey leads the team in goals (10) and points (12). Priya Kavuru anchors the defense with a team-best six caused turnovers to go with five ground balls. In net, Molly Loughlin boasts an 8.00 goals against average and .593 save percentage, which ranks fifth nationally. Monday will mark the first matchup between the two schools.
