AMHERST, Mass. – The Boston University men's track & field team took on Boston College and UMass Amherst on Saturday at the UMass Track & Field Complex, recording several impressive performances.
Freshman
Kasim Cisse cleared 2.05m (6' 8.75") in the high jump, to set a new personal best and senior
Haig Rickerby finished first in the 800 meters with a personal-best time of 1:54.62.
In the field, a number of throwers set personal bests including sophomore
Adam Crawford who won the javelin throw with a PR of 60.80m (199' 6").

- Freshman Kasim Cisse cleared 2.05m (6' 8.75") in the high jump, to set a new personal best.
- Senior Haig Rickerby finished first in the 800 meters with a personal-best time of 1:54.62.
- Junior Ebruba Etta took second in the 100m dash with a time of 10.75
- Senior Nikolas Smith took second in the 200m dash with a time of 22.10.
- Sophomore John O'Connor set a personal best in the 1500m with a time of 4:08.23, good for fourth place.
- Freshman Alex Brown has a strong performance in the 5000m, finishing second with a of 15:07.05.
- Junior Jack Reynolds scored personal bests in a number of events. He finished second in the 110m hurdles with a PR of 15.98. In the field he had a PR discuss throw of 32.23m (105' 9") and a javelin throw of 39.32m (129' 0").
- Senior Douglas Young won the pole vault with a 4.55m (14' 11") vault.
- Emeka Ibeh recorded a personal-best long jump with a leap of 6.66m ( 21' 10.25"), good for third place.
- Freshman Sam Dennerlein had a great meet, finishing second in the discuss with a throw of 42.55m (139' 7"), a new personal best. He also took second in the shot put (14.04m 46' 0.75").
- Sophomore Adam Crawford won the javelin throw with a PR of 60.80m (199' 6").
- Junior Fred Lu had a personal-best hammer throw, finishing fifth with a throw of 40.89m (134' 2").
- Junior Dave Vovor had a great meet, recording two personal-best marks. He finished fourth in the shot put with a toss of (13.03m 42' 9") and sixth in the hammer throw with a throw of 40.86m (134' 1").
