WORCESTER, Mass. – The Boston University lightweight rowing team competed on the road for the first time this season, defeating Holy Cross on Lake Quinsigamond. The Terriers had boats place first in the varsity eight, while coming in first and second in the varsity four.
In the varsity eight, Boston University claimed first (7:44.8), followed by the Holy Cross A boat (8:03.8) and the Holy Cross B boat (8:11.0). In the varsity four, the Terriers' A boat came in first (8:13.1), with the Terriers' B boat coming in second (8:44.6) and the Crusaders coming in third (9:39.3).
Sunday was the final test for the Terriers before the team competes at the IRA National Championship Regatta in West Windsor, N.J. on May 28 - 29
