BETHLEHEM, Pa. - A program-record 13 members of the Boston University women's basketball team were named to the 2021 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the conference announced Monday.
The 13 student-athletes are the most the Terriers landed on the honor roll since joining the Patriot League in 2013. BU and Bucknell tied for the top number of student-athletes named to the honor roll among all Patriot League members.
Tenisha Pressley led the way with a 4.0 GPA in her final semester as a health science major, while
Maggie Pina, a political science major, was also phenomenal in the classroom with a 3.93 GPA.
To be eligible for the Patriot League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
