BOSTON – Exactly two weeks since both teams faced off in the first meeting, the Boston University women's basketball program looks to keep up its winning ways when it hosts Loyola Maryland this Wednesday (Jan. 19) at Case Gym. Opening tip is set for 6 p.m.
The Terriers, currently the lone unbeaten team remaining in Patriot League play, have won five in a row, and seek their first 6-0 start in the PL in program history. A victory would also match their longest Patriot League winning streak of six games, which occurred back in 2019-20.
Loyola, meanwhile, aims to snap a seven-game losing skid and vies for its first PL win of the season. The Greyhounds are allowing Patriot League opponents to shoot 38.5 percent from the field, but are last in the league with 48.2 points per game in conference action.
Recently, Boston University updated its COVID-19 policy in regards to ticketed indoor events hosted by the Department of Athletics and Agganis Arena. Effective Jan. 15, 2022, all guests 12 years and older will be required to present digital or printed proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 (two weeks after final dose) to gain access to Agganis Arena and the Case Center for ice hockey and basketball games.
