BOSTON – In the final game of the regular season, the Boston University women's soccer program welcomes Army West Point to Nickerson Field on Wednesday (Oct. 26). Opening kick is slated for 7 p.m.
Both sides enter the last day with a postseason berth already secured. BU currently occupies the top spot in the Patriot League table with 18 points, with Army right behind at 17 points. The Black Knights are currently tied with Bucknell, who plays fourth-place Lehigh (16 points) at 7 p.m. as well.
Wednesday serves as the Terriers' Pride Game, as well as Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night. Fans will be able to receive a free BU pride decal and flag, while supplies last. Before the match starts, each Terrier senior student-athlete will honor a professor or staff member that has impacted their time at Boston University.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU enters Wednesday fresh off a 3-1 road win at Loyola Maryland on Saturday (Oct. 22).
- Senior Marli Rajacich got the scoring started with a goal in the 39th minute, followed by tallies from sophomore Morgan Fagan (52') and redshirt senior Jenna Oldham (68').
- Sophomore Celia Braun made two saves in a scoreless first half.
- The Terriers' three goals and two-goal margin of victory were season-highs.
- With her goal as well as an assist, Oldham was named the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.

- Army West Point enters the match with a 5-1-2 league record and 7-4-6 overall mark, most recently playing Bucknell to a scoreless draw on Saturday (Oct. 22).
- Across its last three contests, Army has not allowed a goal in 270 minutes.
- The Black Knights have secured a top-four seed in the postseason.
- Army has not won a road match this year, going 0-4-5 outside of West Point.
- Dara Murray leads the Black Knights with 11 points. Kaitlin Palaian and Kaelan Bradley have four goals and three assists, respectively. Sage Strohman has a 0.84 goals-against average and .803 save percentage.

- Wednesday marks the 13th all-time series between BU and Army West Point in a series that began in 1996.

- The Terriers have won four of the last five matches. However, the lone Army win in that span came at Nickerson Field on Mar. 6, 2021.
- BU captured two wins against the Black Knights last season. Fueled by two first-half goals from Geovanna Pereira, the Terriers triumphed in New York, 2-1.
- The two sides met in the Patriot League Semifinals on Nov. 4, 2021. In the 51st minute, junior Abigail McNulty crossed the ball to Rajacich in the middle, allowing her to finish for the game's lone goal in a 1-0 win.
