CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston University women's ice hockey team fell to Boston College, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon at Conte Forum.
BU (10-11-5, 9-7-4 HE) battled for 60 minutes, but BC (17-11-0, 14-8-0 HE) scored a goal in all three periods to even the regular-season series at one game apiece. The Terriers outshot the Eagles, 32-30, with freshman goaltender

HOW IT HAPPENED
- BC opened the scoring just 1:00 into the proceedings.
- The Terriers responded well after the early goal, as both teams established a good flow to the game and played without a whistle for the next 8:15 of the frame.
- Shanahan made several nice saves early in the second stanza to keep BU within a goal.
- The Eagles pushed their lead to 2-0 at 12:41 of the frame.
- Junior Haylee Blinkhorn had a breakaway chance late in the second stanza after a Terrier penalty expired, but her shot went over the crossbar.
- BU made a push for a goal early in the third period but BC put the game out of reach with a marker at 9:42 of the third period.

GAME NOTES
- This was the Terriers' first loss at Conte Forum since Nov. 20, 2018.
- Senior Courtney Correia led BU with six shots on goal.
- Both teams went 0-for-3 on the power play.
