DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Boston University women's golf team tied for the low round on the final day of the Babs Steffens Invitational to end the tournament tied for second among 11 teams.
The Terriers and tournament winner Campbell each posted a 293 in Monday's final round at LGPA International's Hills Course. That closed the gap between BU and second-place Texas A&M - Corpus Christi and both squads finished at +40.
Sophomore
Flair Kuan shot a one-over 73 on Monday and finished +5, putting her in a three-way tie for second.
Freshman
Christy Chen put together her best tournament of the season and tied for the low round of the event with a two-under 70, putting her at +6 and in a four-way tie for fifth.
Senior
Hanako Kawasaki made it three Terriers in the top 10 as she tied for 10th after posting a +9 for the tournament.
Junior
Alice Fan closed out with a 76 to finish tied for 33rd at +21 while freshman
Victoria Takai was one stroke back at +21 while playing as an individual. Junior
Kristen Min Ju Kim placed 45th at +27.
The Terriers will return to action on April 9-10 when they take part in the Hoya Invitational at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Md.
