BOSTON – Returning to Nickerson Field for the first time in two weeks, the Boston University women's lacrosse program hosts Lehigh on Saturday (Apr. 16). Opening draw is set for 12 p.m.
BU plays its penultimate home contest of the season. With three league matchups remaining in 2022, the Terriers' upcoming foes have a combined 6-7 conference record. BU will also play a road non-conference game at Harvard on Apr. 26.
Lehigh takes part in its first two in two weeks, after its previously scheduled duel with American on Apr. 9 was postponed due to COVID-19 protocols within the American women's lacrosse program. The Mountain Hawks are currently seventh in the Patriot League standings.
For Saturday's game, the Terriers will take part in the HEADstrong Foundation's Game Hair Havoc campaign. The student-athletes will wear creative hairstyles to show solidarity and support for patients who have lost their hair due to side effects of cancer treatment.
In addition, there will be a free Raising Cane's tailgate for fans before the game, while supplies last.
