Game Recap: Men's Lacrosse |

No. 13 BU Falls to No. 5 Yale, 22-15

BOSTON - Junior Louis Perfetto matched a career high with four goals and six points, but the No. 13 Boston University men's lacrosse team suffered a 22-15 setback to No. 5 Yale on Tuesday at Nickerson Field.

BU (8-2) jumped out to leads of 2-0 and 5-3, but an 11-0 Yale (6-2) run put the game out of reach. The Terriers never quit and outscored the Bulldogs, 9-4, in the final 30 minutes.

Junior Vince D'Alto had three goals and three assists for a six point day while senior Timmy Ley tallied four points (1g, 3a) and extended his NCAA-best goal scoring streak to 32 games. Sophomores Christian Quadrino and Tommy Bourque each had two goals while senior Jett Dziama tallied one goal and added two assists in addition to his three ground balls and one caused turnover. Sophomore James Corcoran scored his first goal of the year while senior Matt Baugher also found the back of the net.

BU, the national leader in caused turnovers per game, forced 14 Yale giveaways on Tuesday, led by sophomore Dane DeGoler's three. Senior Will Carson also had a pair of caused turnovers. Junior Conor Calderone won 16 faceoffs and collected nine ground balls while junior Roy Meyer finished the day with five ground balls.
