BOSTON – Off to a 4-0 start in Patriot League play for the fourth time in the last five seasons, the Boston University women's basketball team looks for its fifth-straight win when it welcomes Colgate to Case Gym on Wednesday (Jan. 11). Opening tip is set for 4 p.m.
With a victory, BU would start league action 5-0 for a third-consecutive year. In their last 22 Patriot League regular season games at home, the Terriers are 19-3.
Colgate, meanwhile, searches for its fourth win in a row. The Raiders enter the matchup leading the Patriot League with a 2.07 turnover margin and a .236 three-point percentage defense.
Fans attending the game will be able to enjoy free pizza at the marketing table, while supplies last.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU captured its fourth-consecutive win, defeating American at home, 73-63.
- Falling behind by as many as 10 points, the Terriers scored a season-high 25 points in the third quarter, and set a season-high with a .509 field goal percentage and 19 forced turnovers.
- Sophomore Lauren Davenport scored a career-high 16 points, and collected six boards.
- Junior Caitlin Weimar tallied her ninth double-double of the year with 10 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and two blocks.
