BOSTON - After honoring its five-member senior class, the Boston University men's swimming & diving team posted a 173-124 victory over Bryant in its dual finale on Saturday afternoon at the FitRec Competition Pool.
Freshman
Tony Ponomarev won three events, sweeping the backstroke events while finishing the day with a victory in the 200-yard individual medley.
Seniors
Sarsen Whatmore (200 freestyle),
Kyle Falkstrom (100 breaststroke) and
Ethan Thomas (50 freestyle) all claimed wins after being honored along with classmates
Jacob Lindner and
Andreas Mason prior to the meet.
Juniors
Justin Lee (100 freestyle) and
Toby Jackson (100 butterfly) also picked up a win as did sophomore
Nathan Herman (200 breaststroke).
The Terriers, who finish the year with a dual record of 5-3, will close out their regular season next weekend when they host the Boston Winter Open on Feb. 3-4.
