BOSTON – Kelsey Duryea has been named the newest volunteer coach for the Boston University women's lacrosse team as announced by head coach Lauren Morton on Tuesday.

"We are thrilled to welcome Kelsey on board," said Morton. "Kelsey had an incredible career at Duke, and I am looking forward to the impact she will have with our goalies and the team. She brings tremendous energy, knowledge, and experience of what it takes to be successful at the highest level."

Duryea played lacrosse at Duke where she was a four-year starter at goalie. When she graduated, she was ranked second at Duke and third in the ACC with 613 career saves. She was a two-time IWLCA All-America selection, three-time All-South Region and All-ACC honoree and was a two-time Tewaaraton Award nominee.

She helped lead the Blue Devils to the NCAA semifinals in 2015, made two trips to the quarterfinals and one second round appearance. She led the NCAA as a senior in career saves and had 48 goalkeeper wins in her tenure at Duke.
