BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Senior Foster Malleck and freshman Parker Schneider were named the athlete and rookie of the week, respectively, the league announced Tuesday. Sophomore Cole Tucker also received an honorable mention for field athlete of the week.
 
Malleck competed in the 800m and 1,500m invite at the Duke Invitational. He placed third in the 800m with a time of 1:52.36 and 12th in the 1,500m with a time of 3:44.80. His 1,500m time is 55th in the NCAA and second in the Patriot League. The weekly honor is his second of the outdoor season.
 
Schneider also competed in the 800m and 1,500m at the Duke Invitational. His 1:53.38 in the 800m was second for the Terriers and his 3:48.65 in the 1,500m earned him a first-place finish in the open heats. He has the fifth-fastest time in the Patriot League in the event as well.
 
Tucker competed in the shot put, discus and hammer throw at the Duke Invitational. His shot put mark of 16.07m (52' 8.75") currently ranks fifth in the Patriot League.
 
The Terriers will compete at two meets this upcoming weekend with the Providence Friar Invite on Friday (April 14) and the Northeast Challenge at UConn on Friday and Saturday (April 14-15).
