BOSTON – The No. 6 seeded Boston University women's lacrosse team is set to take on No. 3 seeded Navy Sunday (April 30) in the Patriot League quarterfinals. Opening draw against the Mids is set for 12 p.m.

Sunday's quarterfinal game is BU's first since the 2021 season after missing the postseason in 2022. The last time the Terriers advanced to the PL semifinal game was in 2018 after they defeated Colgate 14-9 in the quarterfinals.

TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU is fresh off a 19-15 win over American which secured the Terriers a place in the postseason.
- Six Terriers scored in the win and were led by senior Lauren Kaye and sophomore Matty Spaeth who each had five goals.Â
- Senior Claire Gola led BU in points in the regular season finale with a career-best eight thanks to four goals and four assists.
- Gola now owns the most points for the Terriers with 47. She still has the most caused turnovers and ground balls with 28 each and the most goals with 36.
- Three additional Terriers have surpassed the 20-goal mark on the season in Spaeth (29), senior Jennifer Barry (26) and grad student Maddie MacMaster (24).Â
- Barry's 137 draw controls this season falls just shy of her own program single season record of 156. She is currently 8th in NCAA in active career leaders in draw controls with 376.
- Junior Kendall Sims extended her points streak to three games thanks to two goals and two assists at American. Her four points also set a season high in the category.
- Barry owns the longest active points streak for BU of eight games, dating back to Holy Cross.
- Sophomore Hannah Tillier and grad student Maddie MacMaster are tied for second in assists with 13 after adding one each at American.
- Junior goalkeeper Reilly Agres has made 125 saves on the season and boasts all nine of BU's wins headed into postseason play.

SCOUTING THE MIDS
- Navy wrapped up the regular season 12-5 overall with a 6-3 Patriot League record.
- The Mids are currently ranked No. 25 in the ILWomen/IWLCA national poll.
- Navy's three league losses came against BU 12-11, then-No. 16 Army West Point 15-11 and No. 9 Loyola Maryland 15-7.
- Similar to the Terriers, Navy defeated Bucknell, Colgate and American in the regular season.
- Last season, the Mids advanced to the Patriot League Final and dropped a 15-8 decision to Loyola Maryland.
