Coach Carpenter Postrace
We came down to Duke looking for good weather and fast times, but only found the latter. The group had to deal with some miserable conditions but they competed well and were rewarded with some strong early season marks. The 1,500m was a bright spot for both the men and women this weekend.
Foster Malleck ran just off of his lifetime best and came just shy of winning his heat.
Parker Schneider ran his collegiate debut in the event and came home with a heat win and a strong early season mark. On the women's side, Vera continued her impressive rookie campaign for the Terriers by running one of the fastest times in BU history in the 1,500m in her event debut. We are hoping for some better weather and faster times in the weeks ahead.
