NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – Senior Jennifer Barry of the Boston University women's lacrosse team has been named to the IWLCA All-Northeast Region Second Team, the organization announced Thursday afternoon. She made the team as a draw specialist.
 
Barry, who was named to the All-Patriot League First Team and the All-Academic Team, earns her second all-region honor from the IWLCA. She is one of 128 student-athletes in Division I to be selected to one of the All-Region teams for 2023. The Lake Grove, N.Y., native is one of nine Patriot League players named to an All-Region team. 
 
The senior finished the season with 139 draw controls, her second-highest single-season total in her career. She registered 376 draw controls as a Terrier and is currently 13th in the NCAA among active career leaders in draw controls. As of writing, she is eighth in the nation in draw controls per game and second in the Patriot League. 
 
Student-athletes that made the All-Region teams are now eligible to be named to the national IWLCA All-American team. The IWLCA will announce the 2023 All-American Teams on May 25.
