BOSTON – With a Patriot League regular season title up for grabs on the final day of the regular season, the Boston University women's soccer program hosts Army West Point on Wednesday (Oct. 30). Opening kick is set for 6 p.m.
BU (4-7-6, 4-0-4 PL) has secured a top-three seed for the Patriot League Tournament, and will host its first postseason match at home. The Terriers are vying for their first unbeaten conference slate since 2018.
Army West Point (11-4-1, 5-2-1 PL) will also finish in the top-three in the table this year as it seeks its second-consecutive Patriot League regular season title. The Black Knights have won three of their last four matches.
Wednesday is Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night at Nickerson Field; BU's senior class will recognize select faculty and staff members that have made a positive impact during their time at BU with a pregame ceremony, prior to the starting lineup announcements.

TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU secured its top-three seed following a 2-2 draw on the road at American on Saturday (Oct. 26).
- Trailing 2-0 after 73 minutes, junior Giulianna Gianino and sophomore Kat Slott scored less than six minutes apart to match the Terriers' single-season draw record from 2023.
- Gianino, who was named a Patriot League honorable mention at the midfielder spot on Monday (Oct. 28), is tied for 13th place in program history with 45 career points, and is two goals shy of 10th place in career goals.
- Slott has scored twice in her last three matches, while juniors Helene Tyburczy and Mackenzie Stickelman have each added two assists during that stretch.
- With a win, BU guarantees a quarterfinal bye as a top-two seed and would kick off at Nickerson Field on Thursday (Nov. 7) in the semifinal round.
- The Terriers can capture their first Patriot League regular season title since 2021 and 15th overall conference regular season championship with a win paired with Bucknell tying with or losing to Lehigh.

SCOUTING ARMY WEST POINT

- Kaelan Bradley and Brigid Duffy each pace the team with six goals, with Bradley sporting a team-best 15 points. Sage Strohman has a 1.01 goals-against average and .830 save percentage between the posts.
- The Black Knights were projected to finish first in the Patriot League preseason poll. Strohman was tabbed as the Preseason Goalkeeper of the Year, and joined Bradley, Duffy, and Keira Vesy on the Preseason All-Patriot League Team.
- Last year, Army won the Patriot League regular season title with a 6-2-1 conference record, going 10-6-4 overall. The Black Knights reached the championship game, falling to the Bison in penalty kicks.

- Wednesday marks the 15th all-time meeting between BU and Army West Point in a series that dates back to 1996.
