Women’s Soccer to Face Bucknell in PL Championship on Sunday

November 9, 2024

BOSTON – Seeking its fifth Patriot League championship in program history, the No. 2-seed Boston University women's soccer team visits No. 1-seed Bucknell in the Patriot League championship game on Sunday (Nov. 10). Opening kick is set for 12:30 p.m.

BU (6-7-6, 5-0-4) is in the league's title game for the seventh time in its 12th season as a league member. The Terriers' all-time record is 4-2 in such matches, capturing the championship in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2018.

Bucknell (12-4-2, 7-2-0 PL) looks to win the Patriot League Tournament for the fourth consecutive season, becoming just the second program in conference history to achieve that feat and first since Colgate won six straight from 1994-99.

Sunday's game airs on CBS Sports Network, with Jason Knapp and Jenny Chiu on the call. Live statistics will be available through Bucknell Athletics.
