BOSTON – In the final home game of the 2024 calendar year, the Boston University women's basketball program welcomes former America East rival UAlbany on Tuesday (Dec. 10). Opening tip from Case Gym is set for 6 p.m.
BU (4-3) is 3-1 at home this season as it hosts the last home matchup of the fall semester. To this point in the 2024 calendar year, the Terriers boast a 12-2 record at The Roof.
UAlbany (7-1) will wrap up its three-game road slate on Tuesday, tied for its longest stretch of the year. Three of the Great Danes' four road contests in 2024-25 were decided by single digits.
Tuesday is Bubble Tea Night at Case Gym, where fans can enjoy free bubble tea at the marketing table while supplies last. Pride-themed giveaways are also available with Tuesday serving as the program's Pride Game.
The game will air on ESPN+ with Brian Maurer (COM'07), Mason Jablonsky and Caitlin Beal on the call. Live statistics and an audio-only broadcast are available on GoTerriers.com, with the Patriot League providing an international stream as well.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- The Terriers notched their first road win of the year with a 60-55 triumph at Le Moyne on Dec. 5.
- BU overcame a 13-point deficit midway through the third quarter, outscoring the Dolphins 24-11 in the final frame.
- Freshman Allison Schwertner paced the Terriers with 18 points and seven rebounds.

- The Great Danes are 7-1 on the season, but most recently dropped a 70-65 to Siena on Saturday (Dec. 7).
- Among UAlbany's wins this year is a 73-70 road victory at Syracuse and a 10-point triumph over Rhode Island.
- Kayla Cooper leads the Grate Danes with 19.4 points and 8.8 rebounds per game, shooting over 62 percent from the field.
- Lilly Phillips (11.4 points per game) and Kaci Donovan (10.6) also average double figures.
- UAlbany was projected to finish second in the America East preseason poll, earning three first-place votes.
- A season ago, the Great Danes went 25-7 and 13-3 against conference foes, leading to America East semifinal and WNIT appearances.

- Tuesday marks the 30th all-time meeting between BU and Albany in a series that began in 2000.
