ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Boston University men's swimming & diving team opened up the 2024 Patriot League Championships on Wednesday evening with a school-record performance in the 200-yard medley relay at Navy's Lejeune Hall.

Adrien Pierce posted a time of 1:28.24 in the 200 medley relay, breaking the program mark of 1:28.45 set at last year's league meet. Falkstrom and Lee teamed up with
Jacob Lindner and
Ethan Thomas for the previous record.
In the final race of the night, BU took fifth in the 800-yard medley relay with Falkstrom, freshman
Evan Liu, freshman
Jonny Farber and junior
Pier Bressan turning in a time of 6:35.30.
After opening night, the Terriers stand in tie for fifth place with 98 points, just 22 off the lead held by Navy.
Day two of the meet begins on Thursday at 10 a.m. with the preliminary round.
