BOSTON – The Boston University women's lacrosse team hits the road for a local matchup at Stonehill on Wednesday. Opening draw at W.B. Mason Stadium against the Skyhawks is set for 4 p.m.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU most recently won in an 18-14 decision against Iona at home.
- Junior Hannah Tillier led BU in its outing against Iona with four goals and two assists and has scored at least a hat trick in each game this season.
- Junior Avery Jones found the back of the net three times against Iona to log her first career hat trick.
- Sophomore Elle Stevenson continues to lead the Terriers in goals with 14 this season thanks to four she added against the Gaels.
- Freshman Reilly Walsh was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week on Feb. 19 after five goals and logging three assists in the games against New Hampshire and Iona.
- Freshman Tessa Geddes leads BU on the draw, controlling 16 so far this season.
- Continuing the freshman success is netminder Natalie Aiosa who has two games with 10 saves under her belt.
- Senior Ellen Monahan has scooped up eight ground balls and caused five turnovers thus far, leading BU in both categories.

SCOUTING THE SKYHAWKS
- Stonehill is 1-1 this season, fresh off a 15-6 win over FDU at home.
- The Skyhawks opened the season with a 13-9 loss to UMass Lowell on the road.

THE SERIES
- This will be the second-ever meeting between BU and Stonehill.
