BOSTON – Following a week-long break, the Boston University women's basketball program returns to action when it hosts Bucknell on Saturday (Feb. 10). Opening tip from Case Gym is set for 2 p.m.
BU (13-8, 5-5 PL) looks to snap a two-game losing streak, tied for its longest streak of the season. However, the Terriers return to The Roof for the first time since Jan. 27, and are riding a six-game winning streak on Commonwealth Ave.
Bucknell (7-14, 4-6 PL) has won four of its last six contests, and seeks its third-straight victory. This season, the Bison are 1-10 on the road.
On Saturday, BU will celebrate National Girls and Women In Sports Day with free youth admission and a postgame shootaround, open to the public. Saturday is also Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day and the team's Play Bold game, where the Terriers are collecting gently-used sneakers and basketballs at the marketing table.

TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU dropped a 64-62 contest at Lehigh on Saturday (Feb. 3).
- Without the Patriot League's leading scorer and rebounder, senior Caitlin Weimar, BU overcame an 11-0 deficit to start the game and led by as many as five points in the third quarter.
- However, the Terriers shot 2-for-13 from the field in the final frame.
- Junior Alex Giannaros made 50 percent of her shots for a team-high 17 points.
- Senior Kelsi Mingo buried a trio of three-pointers for 14 points, while freshman Aoibhe Gormley posted a career-high 13 points.
- BU has utilized seven different starting lineups this year, with five tallying at least one win. Weimar has not started in the two lineups that were not involved in a win.
- Mingo is now shooting 40.5 percent from distance in her career, which puts her with the third-highest percentage in program history (min. 75 career attempts). Giannaros ranks first with a 43.2 percent clip.

- Emma Theodorsson leads Bucknell with 12.7 points per game, which is up to 14.9 against league foes, fifth in the Patriot League.
- Ashley Sofilkanich is second in the conference to Weimar at 2.1 blocks per game, while also scoring 12.2 points per Patriot League tilt.

- Saturday marks the 20th all-time meeting between BU and Bucknell in a series that began in 2014.
